Installation

  • Disconnect the speaker connection from the amplifier output.
  • Plug the amp output into the 'from amp' input using the supplied speaker lead. This loads the amp. Plug the disconnected speaker lead into the 'to speaker' socket.
  • Set the 'speaker/DI' switch to the 'speaker' position. The amp and speaker will now work as normal. (bluestone pro is bi-passed).
  • Flip the switch to 'DI' and the amp will go silent but still be loaded.
  • Flip back to 'speaker' and the sound comes back on.

Test this before you do anything else.

For backing tracks plug an MP3 player/computer/CD player into 'audio' socket.

With the selector switch set to 'DI' and the volume 'level' control set to centre position , plug a set of headphones into the
stereo ΒΌ inch jack into 'DI/phone' socket. You will then hear the amp through the headphones. Adjust the volume control to comfortable level.

Set the mixing desk input to 'line level' Unplug the headphones and plug in the male xlr to the 'DI/phone' socket. Plug the other end of this cable into your mixing desk via the supplied xlr adaptor.

You should now be able to hear your amp through your monitor speakers from your mixing desk.

Adjusting the volume control on bluestone pro will raise and lower the volume of the guitar only.

WARNING
Signal LED indicates strength of input power.
Continuous red light indicates excessive input power. Back off the amp volume.
